Ranks Military (Wizards)

Once a Warrior of any wizard reaches the Rank of General or even Master, it is not uncommon that this title (Grandmaster, Fieldgeneral etc.) is used instead of their rank (High Wizard, Grand Wizard etc) even towards Parts that are not the Warrior in question. (Master holds more prestige than Grand Wizard, General more than Magister)

Grandmaster

Commanding officer over an entire Division, including light and armoured infantry and air assault.

Fieldgeneral

Second in command to the Grandmaster, leading the logistics behind the charge from the base camp

Fire Commander

Commanding officer over a charge of unicorns and ground units.

Fleetmaster

Commanding officer over the an entire division of the “navy”

Stargeneral

Second in command to the Fleetmaster

Subcommander

Commanding officer (basically Captain) of a ship (the rank “captain” is usually not given on wizard ships, Angus holding this title during his time as Captain of the Hootsforce was a made up position because it had been familiar to him.)

Wingcommander

Commanding officer over a flock of eagles.

Eagle-/Dragonrider

Pilots of either Eagle or Dragon

Executive Officer

Second to a Commander

Warrior

Standart rank, often in charge over a company of soldiers.

Soldier

Drones not wizards themselves as they lack the emotions and sense of self, but are based on wizard design. Make up the meat of the fighting force, manning most vehicles and doing most of the heavy lifting. Fill all necessary roles, from support, engineering, recon and fighting.

Necromancer

Warriors that use and control magic to create demons from dead matter or even raise the dead

Pyromancer

Warrior/Engineer mix, weapons expert, in charge of making sure things blow up and weapons fire when they should

Warlock

Enchanters specialised in throwing curses like there is no tomorrow.

Elementalist

Mainly Thunder, but Fire and Water too if the individual portalmagic is advanced enough

Justiciar

Warriors that handle and take care of Wizards that fall out of line (not Chaos wizards)

Battlemage

Engineers that fix up broken soldiers and Wizards on the field.

Sentinel

Wizard disconnected from the rest of himself to act as a safe and sentient alarm. If he is killed, the disconnected part will know and raise the alarm.
