Aeven is unconscious again. So, nothing much has changed since HoF after all.
Intention was: he reacts brifly, instictually, to Pola entering his sphere of influence, but - also with the awareness that he can't do anything about Aeven anymore. Because the Hammer is just that powerful in protecting Aeven.
